to Proceed and Mobilization Fee
Further to the Notice to
Proceed dated 23 July 1997 which we received by fax 24
July, we informed you by fax of the same date that we
shall wait for the receipt of the Mobilization Fee
before setting our official starting date. This is
according to Article 3 of our contract.
Please be informed that we
now (01 August) have received the Mobilization Fee bank
transfer which will take 3 days to clear or be available
by Tuesday, 5 August.
Since your Notice
to Proceed allows 10 days before commencing the works,
we therefore give notice to your good office that our
official starting date is 10 days from 5 August, 1997 or
15 August 1997.
Please be informed that out
team consultants, numbering 24 persons will make its
first working visit to Zamboanga City next week of 16-23
August, and we would like to meet Your Honor, together
with your Technical Working Group (TWG) and the Steering
Committee/PEAC, at 9:00 a.m., Monday, 18 August 1997.
This will be a good occasion
for Your Honor to give your direct instructions to the
Study Team, as well as for us to brief you and your
staff with our Schedule of Work.
