After 9 weeks of hectic novena and mass, Dipolognons and Zanorteans in general, finally come to converge at Proesel Park in Lincolnwood, Illinois, May 23, 2009 for their annual fiesta celebration of St. Vincent Ferrer in parallel to the celebration of the saint in the City of Dipolog in which he  is a patron saint.

Illinois is famous for its unpredictable weather but the day was blessed by San Vicente as it was the perfect weather for the occasion.  It is estimated 500 attended the event

Some came with their own personal guests and some came with their amaos. A lot of young people attended the fiesta than in the previous years.

There was a health screening by Ruby Nalzaro a nurse at Wellness Health Center.

The fiesta started with a praying of the rosary by Neria Relampagos and Bebs Romero, then a procession of the image of Saint Vincent around the park and a mass concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Alan Lastimosa and Rev. Fr. Eric Zafra.

After the mass food were served in a fiesta atmosphere. Plenty of food and attendees danced and stayed until  late in the afternon .
