Brief Personal Profile Of
VICE MAYOR SENEN OLVIS
ANGELES
Atty. senen olvis angeles
was born on October 22, 1955 in the peaceful city of
Dipolog City. With the proper guidance left to him by
his parents, Jose Angeles and Lucila Olvis, he now
devotes his life’s work in public service to his fellow
Dipolognons as well as to his family together with his
wife, Atty. Helen Acoymo-Angeles and son, Carl Ian
Angeles.
He
took his elementary education Miputak Elementary School
and achieved an elementary certificate in 1967; his
secondary education he took at the Andres Bonifacio
College and graduated in the year 1971. He pursued his
college education at the same institution and took
Bachelor of Arts and subsequently proceeded to take up
Law School and graduated in the year 1978. At a very
young age of 23, he passed the Bar Exams and became a
lawyer in the year 1979.
Atty. Angeles also held a
number of very important positions in the community.
Right after passing the bar exams, he quickly made use
of his profession and practiced his line of work from
1979 and still continues to do so up to the present. In
the year 1983 to 1984, he was made Legal Consultant by
the Ministry of Human Settlement. He also became the
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dipolog City
Water District. From 1983 up to the present, he is still
the Legal Counsel of the Rural Bank of Katipunan. From
1984 to 1988, he was also made Legal Counsel of the
Rural Bank of the city of Dapitan.
He also presided as
President of the Zamboanga del Norte Chapter of the
Integrated Bar of the Philippines. He was also the past
representative of the Human Rights Commission of the
province of Zamboanga del Norte.

after winning unanimously in the May 11, 2004
synchronized national and local elections, he took up
the Vice Mayoral seat and eventually became Regional
Secretary General of the Vice Mayor’s League of the
Philippines, Region IX. |
